Thank You~ __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ CASEWORKER Senator Joe Manchin seeks a team member to work directly with constituents having problems or difficulties with government agencies. Duties will include, but are not limited to communicating with various levels of government officials to apprise them of constituents' problems and assist in their resolution; as well as contacting agencies to obtain information to assist constituents. Additional responsibilities include monitoring casework for problems which might be resolved by legislative action while developing and maintaining relationships with local businesses, governments, and community organizations to provide assistance/intervention regarding appropriate actions and will occasionally represent the Senator at hearings, meetings, or other functions where particular casework problems are under discussion. The ideal candidate will be a team player, compassionate, and service-oriented. The position requires excellent oral and written communication skills, computer proficiency (i.e. Word, Intranet Quorum, Outlook), and the ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
