My supervisor and I will be conducting a Virtual Career Fair, via Zoom as well as on Facebook Live (join on the "Children's Home Society of WV" Facebook page) tonight, Thursday 06/11/2020 @ 7:00p.m. to have a live discussion on job opportunities in Emergency Child Shelters. I have attached our flyer to this email.

CHS operates 10 emergency child shelters across the state that serve youth ranging in age from 7yrs to 18yrs, with capacity ranging from 5 residents to 15 residents per shelter.

Our available positions that we will be discussing are for relief, part-time, and full-time Youth Care Workers, who work directly with the residents in day-to-day activities, as well as full-time Shelter Social Worker positions which provide case management and supportive individual counseling and leading group counseling sessions for the children.

We will discuss the aspects of each position as well as a discussion on benefits, PTO, sick leave, and our generous Tuition Assistance Program.

Our shelters are located in the following areas of WV:
- Charleston
- Summersville
- Lewisburg
- Parkersburg
- Logan
- Martinsburg
- Northfork
- Romney
- Beckley
- Huntington

To be eligible, all candidates must meet the following requirements:
at least 21yrs of age, have a valid Driver's License and Automobile Insurance, High School Diploma/GED, and clear background and child abuse registry checks. Pay is commensurate with position, highest level of education obtained, and years of experience.
