Opportunities available now for psychologists & therapists in our new Bridgeport location!
Multiple positions open for Ph.D., Psy.D., LICSW, LPC, LMFT providers.

v Spend more time doing what you love (helping clients) and less time on things you don't (navigating bureaucracy and being consumed by endless paperwork)

v Enjoy the perks of private practice combined with the support of an experienced team

v Earn a comfortable salary while working the schedule that fits your busy lifestyle

v Challenge yourself with a dynamic and interesting caseload

v Work in an environment where having fun and supporting one another are prioritized
MPS was founded in 2014 by Dr. Jennifer Myers who envisioned a small group practice model where helping others to live their best lives and providing much needed behavioral health services to the community was facilitated for talented and enthusiastic mental health professionals looking to practice independently, while maintaining the professional collaboration and support needed for a healthy work-life balance. MPS opened in Morgantown and has grown steadily over the past five years. The practice centers on evaluating and treating children, adolescents, adults, couples and families dealing with a variety of clinical mental health issues or simply facing challenging life circumstances. At the heart of MPS is a dedicated, talented team of professionals with a common vision to assist others with finding the pathways to achieving their best selves. Providers see a varied and dynamic caseload of clients and presenting concerns, allowing them to practice different skills and to keep their work interesting and fulfilling. Many of our providers come from agencies or other structured settings and appreciate the benefits of a private practice setting.

Dr. Myers brought experience in government, academia, and her own contract work to create an oasis for often overworked and overstressed practitioners to find their niche to practice on their terms. Most MPS professionals work less than 5 days per week and create their own schedules for time off, allowing for enjoying family and friends, decompressing after work, and nurturing healthy habits. MPS has full time office staff and uses a contracted billing service, allowing practitioners to leave the logistics behind and focus entirely on their treatment strategies.

Therapists in the Bridgeport location will enjoy the established reputation and referral stream facilitated by the Morgantown office, and will practice in a brand new building in the heart of one of Northcentral West Virginia's fastest growing areas. Less than 5 minutes from Jerry Dove Drive and right off of I-79, MPS in Bridgeport is adjacent to United Hospital Center, the FBI complex, the White Oaks planned business community, and a host of retail and dining venues. This desirable location is convenient for providers and clients, and avoids the congestion and cost of a downtown office. 25 miles from Morgantown, 15 miles from Fairmont, 8 miles from Clarksburg, 15 miles from Grafton, 35 miles from Buckhannon, 50 miles from Elkins, the location is easily accessible off of the Saltwell Road/Shinnston Exit (125).

If you are ready to create your own schedule, see clients in a beautiful, brand new space, have your billing and scheduling done for you, benefit from some of the most competitive reimbursements rates, and enjoy the camaraderie of a dedicated group of professionals, then Mountaineer Psychological Services just might be for you.

What are you waiting for? The career you have been looking for (or didn't even realize you needed) is waiting for you now! Applicants must be licensed in WV and at least 5 years of clinical experience is preferred. Interested candidates should send a resume/CV and cover letter to:
Mountaineer Psychological Services
4000 Coombs Farm Drive
Bldg D, Unit 102
Morgantown, WV 26508
via [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> (please include "Bridgeport Application" in the subject)

Interviews will begin in late August and the new location is set to open in September. All who are extended offers will need to be credentialed with MPS before intakes can be scheduled. These are contracted and not full-time, benefits-eligible positions.
