My name is Logan Thorne with the WV Center on Climate Change, a nonprofit based in Morgantown dedicated to fostering grassroots understanding of climate change in WV (more info here<https://saveblackwater.org/west-virginia-center-on-climate-change/>). I wanted to reach out to invite you, your faculty, and students to an exciting free conference organized in partnership with the WVU College of Law and Pitt Public Health, which will take place on Saturday, Sept. 21 at the WVU College of Law. In addition to expert presentations on topics including epidemiology, mental health impacts, and disaster preparedness, we will be offering continuing ed credits for social work professionals. Topic and speaker info, along with the registration form, can be found at https://saveblackwater.org/west-virginia-center-on-climate-change/climate-change-and-public-health/. Anyone who is interested needs to register at the form provided on our webpage to assure their place at the free luncheon, featuring a presentation from keynote speaker, Dr. Bernard Goldstein. Anyone applying for credit must also fill out a separate pre-event form and post-event evaluation, and can contact me for more information. I am also attaching a flyer for you to share at your convenience with anyone who may be interested. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Warm regards,
Logan J. Thorne
