PROGRAM DIRECTOR - SOCIAL WORK
FACULTY POSITION
WEST LIBERTY UNIVERSITY
The Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences seeks to fill the
position of Program Director for its new Bachelor of Social Work
program. This is a full-time, tenure-track faculty position. The
successful candidate will posses the credentials to teach a wide range
of social work courses while serving as director of the program.
Candidates should have a commitment to excellent teaching and college
service, including participation in student advising, recruitment, and
retention. They will be responsible for achieving and maintaining CSWE
program accreditation. DSW is preferred, ABD candidate or MSW may be
considered. MSW must be from a CSWE accredited program. A minimum of two
years of social work practice experience is required. Prior teaching
experience is preferred. The successful candidate must have excellent
communication skills. Salary will be commensurate with education and
experience.
Anticipated starting date: August 16, 2010.
