External Job Description :	APS Healthcare is seeking a
Trainer/Consultant to travel throughout the state of West Virginia
conducting consultative retrospective reviews of socially necessary
providers to ensure compliance with the contractor’s requirements.
Additionally, the Trainer/Consultant provides orientation, training and
technical assistance to any and all providers as requested, provides
necessary information to APS care management staff, and alerts other
agencies (e.g. OQPI) regarding provider concerns as necessary.

Responsibilities:
● Conduct and appropriately document provider retrospective reviews
utilizing APS UM guidelines, BCF manual according to established time
frames.
● Provide training and technical assistance to providers and identify
training needs.
● Interface with APS staff regarding consultative reviews.
● Report and analyze data from reviews according to set timelines.

Requirements:
● Master’s Degree in human service field.
● M.A. level license in social work, counseling or psychology (not
certification).
● Minimum three years experience in direct practice with consumers.
● Strong verbal and written customer service skills.
● Ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations
both verbally and in writing.
● Ability to travel throughout state of WV.
