Field Organizer

WV FREE, the state's foremost advocate for reproductive justice
(www.wvfree.org), seeks a highly motivated individual to serve as
full-time Field Organizer (FO). The FO reports to the Executive Director
and is responsible for recruiting and conducting outreach to activists
and volunteers for all aspects of WV FREE's work, with a focus on our
contraceptive and abortion access campaigns. The FO will maintain and
build WV FREE's network of community and campus activists through public
education, membership events and other activities. The FO will serve as
a liaison with policymakers, health care providers and social justice
advocates. The FO will also help the Executive Director with grant
writing and will assist with general office and other programmatic
duties. Travel required.

The FO must possess the skills to take direction and work cooperatively.
Excellent organizational, written and social skills are a prerequisite.
This individual must be pro-choice and computer-literate. The ideal
candidate will be an energetic person who can handle and prioritize
multiple responsibilities; a self-starter and finisher. Wage is
