Information and Referral Services with Special Populations

This workshop will explore the diversity of our communities and
challenges and rewards of providing services to special populations.  In
addition to a review of basic diversity issues, we will discuss in more
detail specific populations; people with addictions, older adults,
people with disabilities, people with mental illness and military
personnel.  A panel discussion in the afternoon will allow Information
and Referral specialist working with each of these populations to
discuss their specific challenges and rewards and share experiences with
the group.
