Nonprofit organizations are perpetually fighting today’s brush fires.
Developing a strategic planning process is critical to an organization
not only surviving in an ever-changing environment but thriving. This
workshop illustrates the power of creating a dynamic strategic planning
process that assesses opportunities, anticipates threats, and
demonstrates progress to empower employees, volunteers, Board Members,
and partner organizations for success. Participants will receive a
clear blueprint of how to initiate, facilitate, and implement a
strategic planning process that involves all the organization’s key
stakeholders and has enduring impact on its success.
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this workshop, participants
will understand the key steps in developing a collaborative strategic
planning process to effectively manage their organization; understand
two distinct tools to assess their organization’s opportunities and
threats; and mission and vision statements to guide their organization;
identify S.M.A.R.T. goals; and define relevant performance measures to
demonstrate their progress.
