The Greenbrier County Department of Health and Human Resources currently
has an opening for a Child Protective Services Worker(CPS).   A May
graduate with a degree in Social Work would qualify as a CPS worker
trainee with a starting salary of $27, 732.  The salary would increase
to $31,164  after successfully completing a one year probationary
period. 

 

An interested party would need to apply for a Social Work license
through the Social Work Licensing Board and would need to take the Civil
Service examination for Protective Service Worker trainee ( this can be
done prior to graduation if the candidate is in the final semester of
their degree).
