Good Afternoon,

 

            I am the Youth Programs and Community Outreach Specialist for
Operation: Military Kids here in West Virginia.  I was given your contact
information by Susan Izzo, WV National Guard State Youth Coordinator.  I am
pleased to announce that we will be offering our Ready, Set, Go! Training for
the Charleston area on Tuesday, November 10th.  Ready, Set, Go! (RSG) is
designed to educate youth workers, educators, counselors and other community
service agencies on military culture, the deployment cycle, fostering
resilience in kids, and building community capacity to assist military
families.  

            Our intent is to increase ordinary citizens' understanding of the
unique issues facing military youth and assist them in creating local support
networks.  There are more than 7,000 military kids in West Virginia.  I would
like to take this opportunity to invite you to join us.  The training is
free, lunch is provided, and CEUs are available.  If you are unable to attend
