DIRECTOR OF SOCIAL SERVICES

The Arbors at Fairmont, an Extendicare facility, has an opening for a
Director of Social Services.  This position will initially be part-time
until February when the position will become full-time. The right
candidate will:
●	Possess a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or
rehabilitation counseling and be licensed in the State of West
Virginia.
●	Possess strong organizational skills.
●	Possess the ability to plan, adapt, and implement policies and
procedures relating to the social services department.
Responsibilities include:
●	Assisting residents/patients in the achievement and maintenance
of maximum psychosocial functioning and independence.  
●	Making optimum use of community resources and assist in the
facilitation of the resident’s/patient’s discharge planning.  
●	Serving as an active part of the Inter-disciplinary Care Plan
Team (IPOC).  
●	Serving as an active part of the Facility Marketing Team.
