Program Director
CASA of the Fifth Judicial Circuit, an established non-profit
organization recruiting, training and supporting court-appointed
volunteer advocates on behalf of abused and neglected children, has an
immediate opening for a part-time Program Director. Responsibilities
include overall day-to-day management of the agency's operations through
program planning, community and public relations, personnel and
financial management, and agency liaison to the Board of Directors.
Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal, oral and written
communication skills, be self motivated, and goal driven.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public
Administration, Educational Administration, Business, Social Work,
Psychology or related area with requisite experience in the
administration of an organization or division involved in human services
or non-profit sector. Previous experience working with volunteers as
well as knowledge and understanding of child abuse and neglect,
preparation of grant proposals, fundraising, policy development and
other social services skills are given priority.
Salary is $15.00 per hour for 25 hours per week with the prospect of full time hours within
12 months. Transportation, valid driver's license and criminal
