Attached is a flyer that describes a Spanish study trip to Antigua, Guatemala that I am coordinating for educators and other professionals, planned for next spring. The trip is scheduled April 4 - 11, 2010 to coincide with spring recess for many school systems in West Virginia. The trip may be of special interest to educators and other professionals in counties where work and daily life are impacted by the increasing Hispanic population.
The discounted price of $1,715 for the trip includes airfare, one-to-one instruction for all levels of Spanish, home stays, numerous meals, cultural field trips, and pre-trip orientation. Those deciding to register need to pay a deposit of $150 by September 15 to get the discounted price. (Note: If participants are not already registered as a WVU student - then an additional fee of $150 to WVU Extended Learning also is assessed - contact Rich Fleisher with additional questions).
Please share this opportunity with those among your network who may interested. Note that the trip is approved for three WVU non-degree graduate credits for school teachers and other school system professionals, good toward certification renewal and future salary increases.
