Friends in Action of the Eastern Panhandle is seeking the right person to
fill a LifeBridges Americorps slot as Case Coordinator at our office in
Shepherdstown, WV.
Friends in Action of the Eastern Panhandle is a goal and action oriented
mentoring program that uses the power of friendship to bring about positive
changes in the lives of low income families in the Eastern Panhandle of West
Virginia.  FIAEP facilitates the linking of teams of mentor volunteers with
motivated low income families.  Each mentor makes a commitment to work with
a family for one year to help them identify their strengths, set and work
towards attainable goals and achieve greater independence and personal

The Case Coordinator works with the teams to help the families achieve their
goals, providing support, resources and continued training to the team.    
This is a Life Bridges Americorps position.  The stipend for the member is
$11,400 for the year, with a $4,200 education grant that is awarded upon
completion of the year.  The member will also receive student loan deferment
for the year. Health benefits are available.
