Grants Available - Find Out More!
Attend an information session near you!
Every day, volunteers and national service members provide the "people
power" to help meet compelling community needs. In West Virginia,
National Service programs such as AmeriCorps and AmeriCorps*VISTA have
helped develop Family Resource Centers and initiatives such as the
Canaan Valley Institute, a 911 numbering map for the City of Thomas, an
oral history tourism CD, and the renovation of an old log structure in
Helvetia.
Could your organization benefit from this kind of "people power" to
accomplish its goals? Are you looking for a way to reward your
volunteers with an education award? Are you interested in emergency
preparedness in your community?
Volunteer West Virginia, the state's Commission for National and
Community Service has grant opportunities that could help. Attend a
free information session in Logan, Charleston or Buckhannon to find out
if one (or more!) of these opportunities is right for your organization.
