The West Virginia Alliance for Sustainable Families (WVASF) will be hosting a Statewide
Asset Building Summit on September 29, 2009 from 10-2 at Jackson's Mill in Weston,
West Virginia.


The purpose of this summit is to raise awareness about the importance of asset building
in West Virginia for low income individuals and families. It is also an opportunity
to highlight the recent works of the  WVASF and other organizations in the field
 of Asset Building.  We have have presentations from local and national experts 
in the field.
Our goal is to come away from this summit with a better understanding of what is
 going on in the field of asset building and to chart a course of action for a statewide
coalition dedicated to the promotion of assets.
