The National Council For Adoption Infant Adoption Awareness Training
September 21st and 22nd
Parkersburg West Virginia
The training is sponsored by the National Council For Adoption and
provides the attendees with the materials and tools to address the
issues surrounding infant adoption and other adoption related issues.
Materials include, handbook, FACT book, brochures, publications, pad
folio’s and pens. The training is designed to incorporate videos,
power point presentation, guest speakers, and overview of WV Adoption
law, inter-active exercises and evaluation.
The training begins on Monday morning with registration starting at
8am. The attendees are welcome to stay at the Blennerhassett Hotel
located on 310 Market Street downtown Parkersburg. You may arrive
Sunday night and stay at the hotel at no charge both Sunday and Monday
nights. The training ends at 4pm on Tuesday. Breakfast and Lunch are
provided each day. Approximately 5-6 weeks after the training you will
receive a $50.00 stipend to cover any evening meals or other expenses
you may have had.

When you register you can select to stay at the hotel and the
reservation will be made for you by the National Council for Adoption.
