Retaining Staff through Difficult Times
August 19, 2009 * Pittsburgh, PA
August 26, 2009 * Washington, DC

At the heart of any program are the staff. The time and cost invested in
recruiting, interviewing, supervising, and evaluating staff is substantial,
even though we seldom sit down and figure it out. Once we find good staff,
it is essential that we keep them in order to reduce both the budgetary and
human costs (the effects on youth and families) of high turnover and the
loss of our best performers. This workshop focuses on the practical steps
supervisors and managers can take to find and hire the right folks, those
who fit with both your mission and your organizational culture and produce
results, and the work it takes to keep them.

Staff Retention is a critically important topic for many agencies and their
clients, and was identified as being of concern to MANY members in our
spring member survey. This workshop is being presented by Jerry Tracy, who
some of you will remember from his workshops at MANY Conferences. He is a
highly engaging speaker, and you are sure to leave feeling enthusiastic and
empowered about how to keep your best employees, and put your agency's
hiring process to work for you.

Presented by Jerry Tracy, President, Stillmeadow-Benchmark Associates

Registration for this workshop is open: Click
<blocked::http://www.manynet.org/events/eventcalendar.aspx> here to
register.
The cost to attend the workshop:
$45 for MANY members, $55 for non-members.
Additional logistical information will be sent once your registration is
received.
