What are the responsibilities of a good board member? What should
their relationship be with staff? How much time should they invest in
the organization they serve? Hear from a panel of individuals
representing the perspective of an executive director, a board
president, and other charitable leaders, both volunteer and staff.
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this workshops, participants
will have:
● An understanding of board basics that will include the different
types of boards and different organizational structures
● An understanding of the roles and responsibilities of board
members
● An understanding of the challenges and barriers to being a good
board member
● A review of the expectations of the organization to support
board members
