Focusing on the Family
Day One:
● Learn the the dynamics of child abuse and
neglect, ways to identify child abuse and neglect,
and the procedure of a Chapter 49 child abuse
and neglect case
● Explore collaboration of disciplines in identifying
and addressing child abuse and neglect issues
Day Two:
● Learn updates in child abuse and neglect law
● Explore specialized topics to improve practice
● Explore collaboration of disciplines in identifying
and addressing child abuse and neglect issues
This free, two-day conference has been approved
for the following continuing education credits:
Attorneys/Judges: 8.1 credits each day
Social Workers: 7.5 credits each day
Counselors: 7.5 credits each day
Nurses: 7.5 hours each day
Domestic Violence Advocates: 7.5 hours each day
