Renowned Psychiatrist, Dr. Daniel G. Amen, will be presenting a seminar
entitled “Change Your Brain, Change Your Life” on May 9, 2008 at the
National Conservation Training Center (NCTC) near Shepherdstown, WV.
Using the latest, most sophisticated brain imaging technology in
medicine, Dr. Amen will give you an intimate look into a “working
brain.” The seminar is sponsored by the Eastern Region of the West
Virginia Counseling Association (WVCA).
Dr. Amen is a board certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist
with 25 years experience. He helped pioneer the use of brain SPECT
imaging in psychiatry. Recently, Dr. Amen had a PBS special “Change
Your Brain, Change Your Life”. He has appeared on the following
television programs: The Today Show, The View, The Early Show, Fox News,
