Three times a year, in January, May and September, the West Virginia
Commission for National and Community Service publishes the SkillBuilder.
This training newsletter lists training events across the state and is
mailed to 5,500 people. It is also published and updated regularly on our
website, www.volunteerwv.org <http://www.volunteerwv.org/>
The SkillBuilder lists trainings offered by many different organizations
across the state. It also includes conferences etc. that are held outside
the state, if they appear relevant.
Any training of interest to staff or volunteers of nonprofit organizations
may be listed in the SkillBuilder free of charge.
If you are offering any training from May-September, 2008 that you would
like listed in the SkillBuilder, please submit that information as soon as
possible.
You may submit your information in the following way:
* Fill out the form on our website, www.volunteerwv.org

Click on the SkillBuilder section located on the right hand side of the
front page and then click on 'submit a training.'
Make sure you include: Date, time and place of the training event
Contact information - name,
phone number, email
Any costs involved
Brief description
All listings for the printed version should be submitted by April 10. You
may submit information for the web version at any time.
The SkillBuilder is a great way to increase participation at training
events.

that might be interested in listing their training information.
