Mark your calendars now for the next Share The Vision! WV's 16th Annual Substance Abuse Prevention Conference is set for November 18 and 19 at the Charleston Civic Center. The prevention-oriented, capacity building conference brings together West Virginians who work every day to combat substance abuse and promote community well-being. Join prevention and treatment professionals, community coalitions members, educators, law enforcement, counselors, social workers, agencies/organizations, and youth for two days of learning and networking.

WV Prevention Resource Center
The WVPRC is funded primarily through two federal grants: the Substance Abuse Prevention & Treatment Block Grant administered through the WV Division on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse and a Strategic Prevention Framework State Incentive Grant administered through the WV Governor's Office via its Division of Criminal Justice Services. The WVPRC staffs the WV Partnership to Promote Community Well-Being - WV's Governor-appointed substance abuse prevention and intervention planning body. The WVPRC is an affiliate of Marshall University - administratively housed through the Marshall University Graduate College and fiscally administered by the Marshall University Research Corporation.
