The Division of Social Work will be collecting items during Random Acts of Kindness Week for Project MUSHROOM and Milan Puskar Health Right for persons experiencing homelessness. (Items listed below) Donations can be dropped off at Knapp Hall Room 105 anytime between 8:30am and 6pm, 2/11-2/15.
Additionally, the faculty of the WVU Division of Social Work will serve soup on Wednesday February 13 from 11am-1pm in the Knapp Hall 1st Floor Student Lounge. To "purchase" soup, we will be collecting the following items for persons experiencing homelessness in Morgantown:
Thermal Underwear (Men: Large and XL in tops and bottoms, Women: Small, Med, Lg in tops and bottoms)
Men Cotton underwear, boxer shorts: Size 42, 44 and up
Socks
Batteries for flashlights (AA, C, D)
Toiletries (razors - men's and women's, foot powder, deodorant, toothbrushes, sample size toothpaste, mouthwash, soap, shampoo,conditioner, etc.)
Feminine hygiene supplies (tampon, sanitary napkins)
Blankets
Sleeping Bags
Monetary donations also accepted. Make checks payable to WVU Family Medicine Interest Group - Project MUSHROOM or Milan Puskar Health Right.
