United Hospital Center has an immediate full time opening  for a
Director of Social Services and Admissions for United Transitional Care
Center, a skilled care facility of United Hospital Center. A
bachelor’s degree is required.  The candidate must possess a
current WV  Social Work license.  Experience in a long term care setting
is preferred.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in
a fast paced, self-directed environment is essential. He/she must meet
the requirements as set forth by State and Federal nursing home
regulations.

The Social Worker is responsible for planning, organizing and
implementing social services for the skilled care facility.  This
includes admissions and discharge planning as well as meeting all
regulatory requirements.  He/she is responsible for achievement of
quality/performance improvement and utilization/financial goals.
