Job Opening - WV Child Advocacy Network
WV-CAN, a membership organization for Children’s Advocacy Center’s
throughout West Virginia is currently looking for a person to contract
for
approximately 50 hours a month.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Financial: Secure grant funding for new programs and training; assure
an
accountable process for conducting the business of the organization.
Activities: Integrate CAC programs statewide; oversee Peer Review for
Forensic Interviewing; coordinate statewide training and provide a
range of
offerings; collect and disseminate statewide data on child abuse.
Liaison: Work with CAC’s throughout WV to meet the standards of
National
Children's Alliance; create sustaining relationships with
multidisciplinary team
members and organizations throughout the state.
Qualifications: Experience with non-profit organizational
development;
experienced with working collaboratively with other groups and
agencies;
experienced fund raiser.
Bachelor’s degree in human service field preferred.
