Executive Director for the WV Family Grief Center (Part Time Position)
Qualifications include a Master’s Degree, minimum of 2 years
experience in an organizational leadership position comprised of
experience in grief and counseling, human development, experience in
working with diverse groups, public relations, strong organization,
planning, communication and writing skills. The director will manage
and coordinate all of the activities of the grief center, which
currently consists of one night of service for children and families who
are coping with a death. A second night of service, which will have
restricted participants, is in final planning stages. Other duties
include working closely with the BoD, screening referrals, arranging
volunteer training, networking with stakeholders, and being the
spokesperson for the agency. Applicants must be willing to submit to a
