Lunch Will Be Provided
During this gathering of Division of Social Work field faculty and
others who may have future interests in acting as field instructors,
recent changes and updates both to the MSW curriculum and also to the
Field Instruction program for the southern portion of WV will be
reviewed. Participants will have ample opportunity to raise questions
and issues and share recent experiences of participation in the Division
of Social Work Field Education program. After lunch, there will be a
panel presentation on the important topic of Social Worker Safety,
followed by group discussion.
Learning Objectives: Upon conclusion of this workshop, participants
should be able to: 1)
identify and discuss the provisions recent changes and updates to the
MSW degree plan and Field Ed. Program in the Division of Social Work
which will influence their role as members of the Division’s Field
Faculty; and, 2) express increased awareness of best practices within
social agency management regarding Social Work Safety.
