Job Announcement
Raleigh County Community Action Association, Inc. (RCCAA) is seeking a qualified candidate to serve the Raleigh County community as an AmeriCorps member. This person will be responsible for establishing and instructing a financial literacy program in Raleigh County. Benefits of the job include on the job training in financial literacy, adult education, job and life skills, and much more, a $4,750 education award that may be used to pay for college courses or accrued student loans, health insurance, child care, and a living allowance.
Qualified applicants must have a strong desire to help low income people become self-sufficient, an interest in education, a flexible schedule, and reliable transportation. Applicants must be at least 17 years old and have at least a high school diploma or the equivalent, although some college is preferred.
