See Ms. Kimball's website at www.theagingadventurer.com Ms. Kimball will be an inspiration to all of us, young and older with her presentation on "Redefining Old Age for the 21st Century". Many thanks to the OSHER Life Long Learning Institute for their generous support in making this presentation possible.
Our mid-week keynote is Robert Blancato, with a presentation on "Principals of Advocacy". Mr. Blancato is a very energetic and experienced presenter. He has worked for many years in both the US Congress and Executive Branch in the field of aging. See his background at http://www.matzblancato.com/staff.htm
We are also pleased to have musical entertainment on Tuesday June 3 from the String of Pearls, a local tap dancing troupe of "young" senior ladies between the ages of 55 and 77. On Thursday June 4, Dr. Everett Lilly and The Songcatchers will provide an informative and entertaining presentation during lunch on Coming of Age: Traditional Music in the Appalachian Context.
Every day has something great to offer! Please contact me for more details. Hope to see you in June!
