Partners in Community Outreach Coordinator
JOB DUTIES:
. Represent perspective of In-Home Family Education on various state
committees.
. Assist Partners Training Committee in putting together statewide training
for home visitors.
. Assist Partners Training Committee in developing Leadership Credential.
. Provide staff support for Partners meetings and committees meetings.
. Research state systems of early childhood home visitation and identify key
elements to implement.
. Research key provisions of federal Education Begins at Home Act and
identify next steps.
. Establish partnerships with key stakeholders on the state level - assist
local programs with local partnerships.
. Research common outcomes and demographic information to be collected by
programs and work with consultant to establish data collection across
models.
. Identify agreed-upon measures of program effectiveness across models.
. Support the distribution, implementation, and analysis of annual Parent
Survey for In-Home Family Education programs.
. Coordinate provision of technical assistance to local communities wanting
to establish an
In-Home Family Education program.
. Develop and distribute quarterly e-newsletter.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood, Social Work or related
field preferred
. Involvement with early childhood home visitation
. Experience working on state level committees
. Experience developing or participating in local or state partnerships
. Understanding of early childhood professional development
. Understanding of state systems and outcome-based programs
