There is still time to respond to the Call for Proposals for the 2008 Spring
Continuing Education Conference for Social Workers, April 23 - 25, 2008, at
the Charleston Civic Center.

Attached you will find the Call for Proposals form for your convenience.
The initial deadline is October 30th!

THANK YOU for considering responding to the 2008 Call for Proposals!

The conference is already shaping up nicely! Noah Adams of NPR fame and
author of 'Far Appalachia' is the likely keynote. Hilda Heady, MSW, MPA will
talk about addressing the health, behavioral health and social service needs of
returning Vets and their families. Dr. Steven Perkel, who got excellent
reviews for his 'Coaching' workshop last year, will be back for two days. Dr.
Margaret Wehrenberg will speak on Anxiety - she presented two years ago and we
still get comments...and, of course, many other varied workshops, hopefully
including yours.

What Social Workers learn can change the world. Again, thank you for your
consideration!

Sincerely,

Barbara K. Heasley, ACSW, LICSW
Chair, Spring Conference Planning Committee

Elizabeth Randall, PhD, ACSW, LICSW
