Job Description
Title: One Church, One Child Director
Status:  Full-time, salary based position
The Director is required to hold a current  social work license.
Job Responsibilities
 Implement the One Church, One  Child program statewide which includes

presenting to faith communities and  community groups about special
needs adoption
 Ensure the goals and  objectives outlined in the One Church, One
Child 
contract are achieved
  Assist with coordinating the Heart Gallery, an interactive photo
exhibit  
featuring children awaiting adoption
 Work to develop an ongoing  relationship with congregations that are

interested in volunteering with this  program
 Provide awareness and education to the community on issues 
surrounding 
adoption and foster care through organized awareness events and 
projects
 Report program status to the DHHR Office of Social Services
  Develop a working relationship with DHHR Homefinders, Adoption
Specialists 
and  private adoption/foster care agencies statewide.
The position will require  some statewide travel.
