Purpose
Nonprofit sector administrators, managers, supervisors and their employees face special challenges and opportunities. The Management Institute & Fall Conference offers reliable, timely information from experienced trainers and leaders. Strengthen your ability to navigate a shifting, complex environment of issues, programs and policies. Receive key information, tools and best practices to help you improve outcomes.

Who Should Attend
Nonprofit, community & public sector health & social services program administrators, managers, supervisors & direct services staff. Social workers, therapists, case managers & mental health professionals who manage or provide health care & social services.

Continuing Education Hours
The Institute is approved, or applications are pending, to offer CE hours for Social Workers, CACs, LPCs, Nursing Home Administrators, Attorneys & WVU Certificate.

Social Workers: Up to 11.5 hours for WV Social Workers and 9.5 hours for OH Social Workers.  NASW, WV Chapter is a West Virginia Board of Social Work Examiners certified provider (#490013) and Ohio Social Worker Board Provider (#RSX100401). NASW WV CE hours are generally accepted in Maryland, Pennsylvania & Virginia. 
SW Ethics: Workshops E and J offer SW Ethics hours for Temporary License holders.

WVU Nonprofit Certificate Program: Most sessions qualify towards the WVU Division of Social Work CE Certificate in Nonprofit Management. For more info about enrolling in the program, visit: http://socialwork.wvu.edu/continuing_education or contact Jacki Englehardt at 304-293-3501, ext. 3109.

Nursing Home Administrators: This program has been approved for up to 9 CE hours from NAB/NCERS. Contact us for information about specific session approval.  Not all sessions provide hours for licensed Nursing Home Administators. 

Certified Addiction Professionals: Up to 11.5-hours approved through NASW WV, an Institutional Provider approved by the West Virginia Certification Board.

Licensed Professional Counselors: Application pending for up to 1.5 CE hours for attending the Opening Plenary Panel Discussion on Drug Abuse.

Attorneys: This program has been approved to offer 13.60 total MCLE credits by the WV Bar Association MCLE Commission. This will include possibly 3.60 office management credits for attending the Supervision in Nonprofit Agencies session.
