The CAC is currently involved in negotiations for a VISTA Position to
help support the Tri-County CACs. If you know a qualified candidate
please have that person Robin Brown (872-4707) for
more information. We hope the position can be filled near the end of
September. Criteria for eligibility and benefits are as follows. (note
this may not be all the qualifications and or benefits but should be
close)
Qualifications/Restrictions: Must be at least 18 years old, US
citizen, national or legal resident. Submit to Criminal back ground
check and review of National Sex Offenders Registry. VISTA members
cannot be full-time students or attend classes more that part-time while
in service. No political advocacy, organizing, promotion, or
demonstration while on VISTA duty, or while perceived to be on duty, is
prohibited.
Must commit to 12 month, full time at 40 hours per week.
Benefits: Living allowance of $833.00/mo. (amount is taxable), health
coverage, 10 personal and 10 sick leave days, training and development,
potential for relocation allowance and limited moving expenses, child
Care allotment up to $400.00/mo. per child, life insurance, workers
comp, Education Award ($4725), or End of Service Stipend ($1200).
Travel reimbursement.

interview. We will be looking for someone with good communication and
writing skills, experience with grant writing is preferable. This
individual should also be fluent in various computer applications.
