ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The Second Annual West Virginia Student Service and Civic Engagement
Conference is a gathering of student leaders from across the state of
West Virginia. The conference joins young people with top leaders from
service learning and political organizations around the state. There
will be training sessions, workshops, forums, and handson-service. The
conference also provides access to new ideas and service projects. It
allows all participants to establish meaningful relationships throughout
the state. The conference will take place February 2-4, 2007 and is
sponsored by the WVU Center for Civic Engagement and Youth Service West
Virginia, Inc. On Sunday, February 4, the conference will conclude with
a 4 hour service project at local non-profit partnership sites. Please
take this into consideration when making travel arrangements.
